MY CONNECTION TO FINNISH EDUCATION & HEI SCHOOLS

My connection with Finland is deep and has been life-long with my best friend being Finnish/Australian.
 
She spent time in both countries and when she was in Australia with me, we were inseparable.  When she was in Finland, we wrote every 4-6 weeks and kept in touch through snail-mail.
 
Then I went and lived for almost 4 months with her and her family and went to school in Finland. My Finnish was sketchy, so I didn’t understand everything, but I enjoyed every minute and learnt so much.
 
A few years ago I was able to take my family to Finland and we spent time with my best friend and visited Santa’s village.
