About the Event
This session will explore the inner workings of play and how children do it naturally. We will explore dispositions, schemas, developmental milestones, play cycle, temperament, play stages and types of play. You will walk away with a whole new understanding of the children you are working with and how they are developing through play. You will be prepared to plan for learning and development through play and you will understand your role in play with children. This session is perfect for all educators and teachers who are keen for a refresher or new knowledge about play. There will be plenty of opportunity for networking and reflecting the learning back to your own context, group of children and setting.
