Mind Before Matter: Critical Reflection and Professional Dialogue made easy!

'The day was hectic', 'we played outside', 'it was sunny', 'today the children had fun'. 

How many times have you gone to write your 'critical reflection' on a template you've been given and are not really sure what to do? How many times have you felt like you are just filling a box because it is there or for Assessment and Rating purposes? 

We can write until the cows come home, but if there is no purpose or value to the critical reflection, we might as well not bother. So, let's start working on creating critical reflections that turn our 'mind' (thinking and observations) into 'matter' (taking actions based on the reflection). 

Professional dialogue is a huge part of our ability to engage in effective critical reflection. In order to engage in professional dialogue, we need to be able to disagree, be open to other people's ideas, plan discussions and build a framework for the discussion so everyone can have their perspective heard. 

During this session, we will explore how to become more comfortable with professional dialogue and genuine critical reflection.  

We will unpack many concepts and I will share some real examples and templates with you.
